Donated: 28 Cubic yards of concrete for helipad. Pittstown and several bordering towns often need to airlift residents to nearby hospitals due to their remote location and the length of time it would take an ambulance to drive to the patient and get them safely to a medical facility. Unfortunately, there is not always a convenient place for the LifeNet helicopter to land. That’s why Paul MacNaughton (Callanan Employee) and other members of the Pittstown Fire Department began to work on a solution that resulted in a brand-new helipad being constructed next to the fire department.
